Rabies Free 2020 is a mobile application specifically designed to increase awareness about Rabies in a technology-driven age. It is an educational and informational application in Android phones which discuss Rabies as a disease, including the prevention and control aspects.
The development is made possible through the collaboration of Technological Institute of the Philippines - Quezon City, as a known institution and an expert to the development technology, and Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Animal Health Industry, as the lead agency in the Rabies Elimination in the Philippines. With the fast-approaching goal of the Rabies Program to be a Rabies-Free Philippines, quad-media campaign is the ultimate way of spreading the knowledge and awareness to the public to impact behavioral change and subsequent elimination of Rabies, complemented by effective program implementation.
